VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL AND OUTREACH
VBS will be here before we know it! This year’s theme is “Monumental - Celebrating God’s Greatness.” We will be decorating as if we are camping outside in areas like the Grand Canyon and/or Joshua Tree State Park.
We will have stories, songs, games, snacks, crafts, and science as we explore God’s greatness in our world.
We will also have three Outreach projects for VBS this year. (Actually 2 are for the same organization.)
1. We will again be collecting canned goods for Damascus HELP. This pantry especially needs food donations during the summer months.
2. Small Things Matter is an organization that promotes literacy as well as personal hygiene kits. We will be collecting items for the hygiene kits and making bookmarks for books that we will purchase.
You can always donate money towards our VBS supplies and/or these worthwhile projects. Whatever you want to do will be greatly appreciated. If you decide to write a check, please write on the memo line if it is for VBS or VBS Outreach so your donation will go to the correct place. If you would like more information, please contact one of us or the office.
As a reminder, VBS will be held July 17-20 (note revised dates) (Sun - Wed), 6:30 - 8:00 pm. And if you would like to help in some way, please contact Melanie, Leslie, or the church office.
