2025 VBS OUTREACH
During VBS week, our young explorers will be collecting food for the Damascus Help Community Food Pantry. The congregation is invited to contribute to our collection. Needed foods include:
- Spaghetti sauce
- Pasta, Instant Potatoes
- Canned vegetables & fruits
- Canned meats (tuna, chicken, etc.)
- Cereals (cold or hot)
- Peanut butter (medium size)
- Soups
- Mac & Cheese boxes
Our young explorers will also be assembling backpacks filled with school supplies for children in our community. Just as an explorer needs the proper gear to safely navigate the wilderness, a child needs a Backpack filled with supplies to successfully navigate in school! With your help, we can ensure that many area children are ready and excited for school this upcoming Fall.
Needed items are as follows (and must be new please):
- Boxes of Crayons (24 count)
- Boxes of Pencils (12 count)
- Boxes of Colored Pencils (12 count)
- Scissors (for K-3rd grade)
- Glue sticks (any size package)
- Composition Notebooks
- Packs of Wide-Ruled paper
- 3-Ring Binders (2” wide)
- Backpacks (17” – 20” size)
