Lenten Outreach Project
Comfort Cases for Children in Foster Care
Over 700 children enter foster care each day and many enter the system with nothing but the clothes on their backs. During Lent, we are going to support an organization called Comfort Cases who believes that every child should have their own bag of belongings (www.comfortcases.org). The organization assembles Backpacks filled with comfort and personal care items for children entering foster care. During Lent we are going to collect items for the backpacks.
